BOX (William) surname research request
David Box from West Yorkshire writes:
I am trying to take back my Family Tree another generation.
The 1851 Census shows that my Great Great Grandfather William Box lived in the village of Cotwall End at an address shown on the census form as 21 Dip Heley.
The Census form also shows that also living at that address was my Great x 3 Grandfather a Charles Box and his wife Ann. In 1851 Charles age was 53 which would mean that he was born in 1798.
The Census form also shows that he was born in Himley Stafforshire. Not being familiar with the Staffordshire region I would appreciate any help or information your readers can offer.
