BEARDSMORE? Lesters Building?
Diane writes:
I am tracing my husband's family from Lower Gornal: Beardsmore, Briscoe,Hyde
living at either Deepdale Bank, Lake Street or Humphrey Street.
One address that keeps appearing is Lesters Building in Humphrey St but I cannot find anything about it. A Sarah Beardsmore was housekeeper there I believe 1927ish, and a Hyde lived there in 1910.
Can anyone help?
