Sportier Shop
Our sister site at
www.blackcountryshop.co.uk has been busy expanding its
Sport section.
The Black Country Shop was quietly launched a few weeks ago with the aim of offering specialist books,
maps, gifts and merchandise relating to our area. We are trying to concentrate on items that are of specific
local interest, often with a historical or humorous slant and perhaps difficult to obtain in town or at
Merry Hell.
These criteria left the Sport category a little thin on the ground when we started,
with only Brenda Bullock's Reflected Glory - the story of one woman's long love affair with the Wolves -
fitting the bill. However, we are now tapping into richer seams with a range of titles that may tickle the
Black Country sports fans' fancy.
We're most excited about Duncan Edwards - The Full Report, a glorious hardback cornucopia of memorabilia and photos
covering the tragically short career of the Manchester United legend, born just up the road near the 'Wrenner'.
But for a bestseller, look no further than the Molineux goal machine Steve Bull with his My Memories of Wolves -
unless you're a Baggies Fan of course, in which case Cyrille Regis - 25 Years in Football
may be more up your street.
Why not have a wander round
The Black Country Shop? With speedy delivery and
secure credit/debit card payment through WorldPay we might just have the perfect solution, whether you're after
a gift for someone or maybe just to treat youself.
