Could you be a magistrate?
Contrary to popular perception, almost anyone with the right personal qualities can become a
Justice of the Peace, or magistrate . Though unpaid - except for travelling expenses and allowances - the
role is a rewarding and responsible one in which you will be carrying out a vital community service.
Dudley is one of a number of Black Country areas looking to recruit new members to the magistracy. So if
you are between 27 and 65 and available for at least 26 half days work per year (plus training) why not
find out more by contacting:
Miss Fiona K Jeffries
Administrator for the Black Country Advisory Committees
Warley Magistrates Court
The Court House
Oldbury Ringway
Oldbury
West Midlands B69 4JN.
Telephone 0121 533 3404.
