Lower Gornal Ladies Launch
Are you a local young mum with kids? Fed up now and then? That
'stuck in a rut' feeling?
Then you may well be interested in a new women's group that will be launched on
Friday 9th July 2004. Based in the Parents' and Children's Zone at Robert Street Primary School,
Robert Street, Lower Gornal, the Lower Gornal Ladies
Development Group is funded by charitable organisations and supported by Social
Services.
The aim of the group is to empower young mums to join, make new friends, have fun
and develop new skills. The group will be running training courses for varied subjects, along with
talks on a wide range of domestic issues. Up to 45 members can be
accomodated, with limited creche places.
There's lots planned for the launch, including children's entertainment, balloon modelling, and magic.
