Dudley Castle will be transformed into a music lovers paradise on Friday 25th June
when it plays host to an internationally acclaimed jazz artist.
As part of Dudley Council’s Borough Festival, Dudley Performing Arts have commissioned legendary jazz trumpet player
Bobby Shew to entertain the masses at a unique open-air concert in the grounds of Dudley Castle.
Bobby, who hails from the USA, will be on stage from 7.30pm. He will be accompanied by three live bands,
including young jazz musicians from the West Midlands area.
The musician will also be giving a master class to selected students from Birmingham, Dudley, Sandwell and Stafford.
Cindy Peek, Assistant Director for Education and Lifelong Learning & Community Education, Dudley Council, said:

Bobby has inspired many children, teachers and professional musicians the world over with his approach
