Housing Meetings Step Up a Gear
This month sees over 30 public meetings taking place in connection with the future of Dudley’s housing service.
The ‘Use Your Voice, Make Your Choice’ consultation is reaching out to people in their own neighbourhoods, with
meetings taking place in community venues right across the borough. At the end of the month there are two full-scale
public forums which the Council is encouraging tenants and leaseholders who are unable to make their local meetings to
attend. They will be at:
Sapphire Suite, Crystal Leisure Centre, Stourbridge,
Saturday 19th June, 11am – 1pm
Central Methodist Church, Wolverhampton Street, Dudley
Saturday 26th June, 11am – 1pm
It is hoped that these series of meetings, designed to gauge people’s hopes for the future, will bring hundreds more
tenants into the consultation process.
Director of Housing, John Stringer, said:
‘Use Your Voice, Make Your Choice is all about us engaging with our tenants and leaseholders. At this stage we are still
asking for people to tell us exactly what they want for the future of their housing service.’
