Catering for Kids at Gornal Library
Our local library is launching a couple of new initiatives that will be of interest to Gornal parents
and their children.
Firstly, a Homework Club is running every Tuesday from 3.30 - 5pm. Refreshments are provided, there's free internet access,
and some free printouts too. You have to get a parental permission form signed so give them a call on 01384 812755
for details.
Secondly, the library has resurrected its Monday Storytime for 3 - 5 year olds.
It starts next Monday, the 17th November 2003, at 9.30am. More details available on the phone number above.
By the way, for those who don't quite age-qualify for the Storytime by half a century or so,
don't forget those Silver Surfer IT lessons on a Tuesday morning - excellent facilities, and a helpful informal atmosphere.
elightful children's story Tom's Midnight Graden is playing at the
Old Rep Theatre in Birmingham in January, and Dudley Council have organised
a children's colouring competition, with a family ticket as the prize.
To enter, pick up a form from
Gornal Library,
and colour in the picture shown.
Ther are two age groups, 5-7 and 8-11, and entries must be returned by
Monday 22nd December 2003.
Good Luck!
