Peacocks Latest (upd. 25/10/04)
25/10/04 Please note that the match previewed below was actually postponed due to pitch conditions (heavy rain)

Gornal Athletic face Brierley & Hagley at home tomorrow (23rd, k.o. 2.45pm at Garden Walk),
desperate to halt a dismal run of results that continued mid-week with a 3-0 defeat to
Heath Hayes.
The Peacocks have garnered just a single point from the last six league outings, and have slipped
to mid-table - having played more games than all of the teams below them. Yampy has not been along
to Garden Walk for a month (we'll put that right this weekend), so any attempt to analyse the
team's poor form - after a satisfactory start to the season - would be speculative. However, our
spies on the bonk tell us that the 3-5-2 formation currently in favour means that there is a lack of width
up front and an absence of full back cover in defence.
We'll wander down the hill to the game tomorrow to see for ourselves, so stay tuned for the match report.
