Afc Gornal News Round Up Many thanks to AFC Manager Richard Upton for the following update: Yesterday (1/2/04) we beat Blakedown 6 - 0 with Jona (Dave Jones) getting a hatrick, Adam Checketts getting a brace and young Gav Atkins also notching. However the game was marred - John Magher was sent off for pushing his opponent. Last week we dispatched a division 2 side - Stourbridge Tenth Lock in the cup 4 1; Adam Checketts getting another brace, Nick Colbourne 1 and Gav Atkins 1 also. Disappointed with John sending off yesterday as he and Jona will not be available for crunch matches. Next week we are away to Hoobrook Crown which is a big game for us as they were our bogey side from last season.
