Muriel Celebrates 100th Birthday
Many Happy Returns to Muriel Appleby, of Jack Newell Court sheltered housing scheme in Coseley,
who receives the traditional telegram from the queen on Wedneday 30th June 2004, her 100th birthday.
There will be a party on her big day of course, with the Mayor dropping in to offer the Council's best wishes.
As well as friends and family there will also be a Territorial Army guard of honour.
Director of Housing, John Stringer, said:
‘On behalf of everyone in Housing Services, I want to wish Muriel a very happy birthday and to congratulate her on her
achievement.'
